End of light mob farm

The fastest mob farm ever built, and not really a farm so much as an exploit chain. Viktor40 and ImaMc's End Of Light stacks light suppression, update suppression and a bat switch so the game never updates the light level around the spawning area, which lets it spawn mobs at a rate nothing else approaches. 3.1 million drops an hour, or 6.5 million if you ignore what it does to the tick rate. The same video also shows a wither skeleton farm at 242 skulls a minute. It came out of the HammerSMP group in 2020 and depends on bugs Mojang has since changed.

• Lightning is the one thing that breaks it. The strike itself causes no light update, but the fire block it creates does, so lay a lightning proof floor around the farm.
• Suppression is not optional. One builder rebuilt it without update suppression on the portals and got no spawns at all.
• Expect stack overflow errors if the suppression chain is not set up correctly.
• The light suppressor works in single player but not straightforwardly on a server, which one builder ran into and nobody resolved.
• Viktor40's own correction to the video: mobs wait 15 seconds to go to the nether, not to the overworld.
• From 1.19 wither skeletons spawn inside the portal, so the wither skeleton version stops needing light suppression at all.
