Pale oak, dark oak tree farm

A dark oak and pale oak farm by bigbooty17, and the fastest tree farm here. TNT is detonated inside the tree rather than beside it, which cuts item damage enough that no beacon is needed, unlike every other dark oak farm. A minecart holds you at a fixed angle to plant the 2x2 saplings, dispensers bone meal them, and one duped TNT takes the whole tree down. Sapling return is self sustaining. The video spends ten minutes on the mechanics before the build starts and the description carries a real FAQ.

• From 1.21.4 the TNT blast radius changed and the obsidian block has to move one block higher, or the explosion eats part of the farm and the bottom logs stop breaking. This is the top fix on the video and it improves sapling return as well.
• Do not waterlog the floor slabs. Two of the most upvoted comments are builders who did it anyway and watched the duper rain TNT through their own farm.
• Aiming from the minecart is the fiddly part. Set FOV to 30, open F3 and line the cursor up using the two numbers on the Facing line before you start planting.
• The video never says where in the 19x21 footprint the first block goes. Facing west it is 12 blocks in from the left counting the corner, then 9 down counting the top.
• On 26.2 one builder had to remove the piston at 12:43 as well as raising the obsidian, though another runs 26.1.2 with no changes at all.
• Sapling return takes a while to stabilise, so start with a full stack and expect to top up from a dark oak forest for the first while.
