Endermite minecart enderman farm

An enderman XP and ender pearl farm in the End. You pour lava down the side of the main island and water beside it to make a stone shaft, then build 128 blocks out from the island so the platform is the only place endermen can spawn. The spawning floor is a 5 by 5 column of rings 44 blocks tall, opening into a wide platform at the top, and a name tagged endermite sits in a minecart in the middle so the endermen walk to it and fall through the trapdoors. They land in front of you and you kill them by hand over hoppers. The build itself is simple, but the video is two minutes long and cuts through most of the steps, so the written walkthrough in the description is the better guide.

The on-screen list is incomplete. The rail, minecart, name tag, ender pearls, water and lava are all needed and none of them appear on it. The description has the fuller list.
The building block has to be one endermen cannot pick up. Smooth stone and cobblestone both work, dirt does not, they carry it off and the farm comes apart.
Carpet colour makes no difference, purple is just what he used.
Bring scaffolding. Building the rings 44 blocks up is the awkward part, and one builder put a column in a corner and broke it back down afterwards.
The endermite has to be name tagged or it despawns, and it stays in the minecart so the endermen path towards it.
Endermen can die on the landing and the entity cap throttles it, so the platform will not stay full.
