Watch the full tutorial on YouTubeAn enderman XP and ender pearl farm in the End that needs no endermite and no name tag. You build 128 blocks out from the main island so your platform is the only place endermen can spawn, and you aggro them by looking at them, which is what replaces the endermite in every other design. Waterlogged leaves stop them teleporting out, entity cramming does most of the damage, and you finish them off so the drops and the XP still count as yours. It costs about eight stacks of leaves and takes roughly 15 minutes to build. This is the one most people mean when they talk about a cheap enderman farm, and it has held up across every version since 1.13.
Do not use a Knockback sword. It shoves the armor stand out of position, and it is the single most repeated warning on the video.
The armor stand is optional. The creator says in his pinned comment that you do not need it at all, so a Fire Aspect sword burning it does not matter either.
The waterlogged leaves are what stop the endermen teleporting away, and looking at them is what aggros them, which is why no name tag is needed.
Light the temporary blocks and the platform while you build, or switch to peaceful if your difficulty is not locked. Otherwise endermen spawn around you and get in the way.
If endermen spawn on the main island instead of your platform, put water on the spots where they appear.
On Bedrock the water leaks out of the leaves. Signs on the leaves hold it, or use bottom slabs on the bridges and fill the spawning platform with solid blocks instead of a strip.
Save this farm to a collection to tick materials off as you gather them.
What you get for the effort.
