Portal teleport gold farm

A portal based gold farm on the nether roof. Zombified piglins spawn on the platforms, turtle eggs lure them into nether portals, and they come out high in the overworld where the fall kills them and hoppers collect the drops. It makes about 310 gold blocks and 50,000 items an hour with no redstone in it at all. Roughly half those items are rotten flesh, which is an emerald farm in itself if you keep clerics nearby. Java only, and 14,280 magma blocks is days of mining.

• Every platform has to be in a nether wastes biome. More people report finishing the build in soul sand valley or warped forest than any other mistake in the thread.
• Several builders only get output with a second player AFK in the overworld while the first is in the nether. On some worlds one player is enough, on others the piglins go through and nothing ever reaches the chests, so test before you build the storage.
• Storage overflows fast. Around 25,000 rotten flesh an hour buries the gold and a plain hopper sorter cannot keep up, so burn the flesh and the swords or sell the flesh to clerics.
• Put turtle eggs on both sides of the portal with trapdoors around them. Otherwise the piglins cram in the portal mouth instead of walking through.
• Some piglins slip past the portals and land on the nether roof floor. Put a small catchment there or you lose them, and magma cubes end up in the overworld collection area too.
• One flint and steel does not survive lighting all the portals, and bring spare obsidian for your own way back to the overworld.
