Watch the full tutorial on YouTubeGnembon's large scale iron farm. Sixty villagers sit in five modules and one pillager rides a minecart loop past them, scaring each group in turn, and the golems drop into lava over the hoppers. It needs a villager breeder to supply it and takes several hours to build. Java only, 1.16.2 and up.
Remove the glass block under the block the redstone torch sits on at the pillager stop, and the glass above the detector rail. Neither is mentioned in the video, and the second one stops a whole group of villagers waking up.
Use one powered rail per station instead of three. The pillager moves too fast otherwise and the villagers get less time to summon golems.
Lower the drop chutes by five blocks. One builder went from 30 to 40 percent efficiency up to about 95 percent that way.
Golems sometimes spawn on the fences. Put string above the fences to stop it.
On 1.19 and 1.19.1 the golem timer is 35 seconds instead of 30, so the clock timing has to be adjusted.
Get a villager breeder with a chunk loader running before you start. Sixty villagers is far more work than it sounds.
Save this farm to a collection to tick materials off as you gather them.
