Watch the full tutorial on YouTubeA showcase, not a tutorial. Toasted_Sausage's record attempt bamboo farm, built in a void world out of roughly 190 identical modules, each one a bank of dispensers bone mealing bamboo with pistons snapping it off. What makes it faster than every other bamboo farm is the collection: mud under the plants lets him run hopper minecarts and water streams instead of hoppers, so the throughput is not capped by hopper transfer speed, and the loaded carts are destroyed by riding into a lava filled cauldron. There are no build steps in the video and the creator has said repeatedly he will not make any, so the world download is the build guide.
This is not a tutorial and there will not be one. Toasted_Sausage answers a dozen requests with the world download and a suggestion to work it out or use someone else's tutorial.
If the minecart will not break, check there is a rail in the water, the amethyst is in place, and the cauldron is actually filled with lava.
Hopper minecarts vanishing is a server killing entities rather than a fault in the farm. christopherrobin2879 and the creator both say so, and skinnbonea's missing farm in the world download turned out to be the wrong Minecraft version.
Feeding it is the real problem. Toasted_Sausage says one module wants a simple moss or wither skeleton farm behind it, and the full build would need several fully maxed wither skeleton farms.
Noah-tq1du runs the numbers and it is not flattering: about 800,000 bone meal for a million bamboo an hour, roughly 500 shulkers, where a plain wood farm gets the same wood equivalent on about 30.
The creator warns it is hard on the client. He says it slows the whole game down, including everything in the overworld next to it.
Save this farm to a collection to tick materials off as you gather them.
What you get for the effort.
